Library Cards
Library cards are free for residents and visitors to the area. Government issued photo identification is required when the card application is completed i.e. a driver’s license.
Minors (under age 18) need a parent or guardian’s signature on their application. There is no minimum age requirement to obtain a library card.
Personal identification is required to check out library materials if a card is forgotten.

Online Catalog
The V-Cat Online Catalog provides access to materials found within the Demmer Library’s collection as well as the collections of the public libraries in the Wisconsin Valley Library Service.
Public Use Computers
The library provides three public access terminals connected to the Internet as well as wireless Internet throughout the building. Click here for more details regarding our Internet Policy.
The three public access terminals also include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Patrons may print from our public use computers at the cost of twenty-five cents per page.
Wireless Internet
A laptop computer, PDA or other device with WiFi capability that supports the WiFi standard, IEEE 802.11b or g may be used to access the network. Your device should automatically detect a new connection. No user names or passwords are required.
Wireless users do not have the option of printing using the Demmer Library’s printer.
Library FAX Service
The Demmer Library maintains a public fax machine. Patrons may send faxes at the cost of $2.00 for the 1st page, and $1.00 for each additional page. Patrons may also wish to have items faxed to our library for pick-up. The fax number is (715) 546-2930. The cost to recieve a fax is $1.00 per page.
Public Copier
The Demmer Library maintains a public copier. It is a plain paper copier (sorry no color copies). The cost is twenty-five cents per copy.
The Library Limo

The Demmer Library publishes a monthly newsletter highlighting our upcoming programs and offering tidbits of information about the library world. Read the current issue or browse past issues.
