The Demmer Library offers many life-long learning opportunities for residents and visitors to the Three Lakes Area. Details of our upcoming events and programs for adults and youth are included below. Please feel free to contact us with questions, concerns and/or suggestions for future programs.

January 31st @ 9:30 a.m. – Paper Embroidery Class taught by Sue Younker of Stampin’ Up!
February 7th @ 9:30 a.m. – Chocolate Roses Class taught by Denise Kerns of Lick-A-Dee Splitz
April 9th – 14th – “You Belong @ Your Library” to celebrate National Library Week & visit the Frederic Remington exhibit
April 11th – Cowboy Cooking Contest judging at 5:00 p.m. – Enter your award winning chili, bread and/or desserts for a chance to win prizes in several categories. Register before 4/4/11.
April 11th @ 6:30 p.m. – Join us for a program featuring the Lewis & Clark Expedition presented by watercolorist Dave Sorgel
April 25th @ 6:30 p.m. – Aquatic Invasive Species Program presented by Michelle Sadduskas of UW-Extension
May 2nd @ 6:30 p.m. – Matters of Life and Death Expo at TLCAN (Meet with representatives from area organizations to help you make important decisions for you and your loved ones).
May 9th – Who Gets Grandma’s Yellow Pie Plate? presented by Erica Brewster of UW-Extension
June 27th @ 6:30 p.m. – Owls program featuring “live” owls presented by Trees For Tomorrow @ the Demmer Library
July 25th @ 6:30 p.m. – Sounds of the Night program presented by Trees For Tomorrow @ the Demmer Library
August 10th @ 6:30 p.m. – Sam Campbell Program presented by Steve Yahr at TLCAN (Three Lakes Center for the Arts in the Northwoods)
August 22nd @ 6:30 p.m. – Nature Program about “Bats” presented by Trees For Tomorrow @ the Demmer Library
