05/19/14 – 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Lego Club meets in the Library Lower Level.

05/29/14 – Demmer Library’s Annual Spring Fling Dinner/Fundraiser – tickets on sale until May 23rd, 2014.

06/16/14 thru 08/16/14 – “Literary Elements” Adult Summer Reading Program – the more you read the more chances to win monthly prize drawings!

06/18/14 – 6:30 p.m. – Trees For Tomorrow @ the Demmer – learn outdoor survival skills!

07/02/14 – 6:30 p.m. – Antartica! presentation by Jeanne Roppolo at Three Lakes Center for the Arts sponsored by Demmer Library.

07/15/14 – 10:00 a.m. – Trees For Tomorrow (Birds) @ the Demmer

07/16/14 – 6:30 p.m. – “Discover the Night Sky” presented by Frank Kovac at Three Lakes Center for the Arts sponsored by Demmer LIbrary – attendees will be entered to win 2 tickets to the Frank Kovac Planetarium!

07/28/14 – 6:00 p.m. – Snakes Alive! (Live Reptile & Amphibian Program for kids)

09/24/14 – 5:00 p.m. – 3rd Annual Demmer Library Fall Cooking Contest (Soups, Breads & Desserts) Recipes

09/24/14 – 6:30 p.m. – Author Mary Pat Kelly to discuss her new book & upcoming film based on the series.

10/13/14 – 6:30 p.m. – Green Cleaning with Marcy Chuckel

10/22/14- 3:30 p.m. – Lego Club

11/03/14 – 6:30 p.m. – Foraging the Northwoods for Food & Fun with Alex Breslav of Teaching Drum Outdoor School

11/11/14 – 6:30 p.m. - Proud – film screening & discussion at TL Center for the Arts located at 1760 Superior St.  – “Proud” is the true story of one of only two U.S. Navy ships with African-American crews that saw combat in WWII.  (Rated PG).  “Proud” was written & directed by Mary Pat Kelly.  Starring:  Ossie Davis, Stephen Rea, Aidan Quinn, Reggie Austin, Vernel Bagneris & Marcus Chait.

Discussion facilitated by Mike Silber, Commander of American Legion Post #431 with special guests Mike Thompson & James Campbell of Never Forgotten Honor Flight.  Free admission to the film with concessions available for purchase.
